I met Jessica & Dewan at the Lovesick Expo back in January; they’re getting married this October in Savannah, in an intimate ceremony. Decatur Square is a favorite haunt for them, so we built a Decatur Square engagement session completely with graffiti and a visit to the ice cream parlor & the bookstore.
Even if we’re not shooting in-home, I do my best to build an engagement session that means something to my couple personally and is a reflection of them in some way. I don’t have set locations I go to, and some part of each session is always extremely specific and personal to my couples. I find that the images mean so much more, they’re such an honest look into who they are as people, and we have an even better time because of this bit of planning.
