My friend Robin of Rhapsody in Blooms and I came up with the idea for an Avengers-based wedding shoot one day while generally nerding around. We’re both big comic geeks - Captain America specifically, thankyouverymuch - and fans of the Avengers movie series. So we definitely wanted to pay homage to our fandom in the best way we know how: developing a shoot to show off some Avengers wedding inspiration.
The tagline we kept coming back to was “if one of the Avengers got married in real life, Tony Stark footed the bill, and Pepper kept him from going off the deep-end with the design.”
Not only did we work in the overall feeling of the Avengers and their locations, but we sprinkled in little specific bits, as well; like colors & textures & patterns.
We had the privilege of working with an amazing team of vendors for this styled shoot, all listed at the end of the post.
