Bekah & Lee were married in October of 2011 in the McDonough square with a rooftop reception. Their wedding was a blend of classic rock-n-roll and country, so I felt it only appropriate for their first anniversary session to echo that mix.
Since Georgia was blessed - or cursed? - with such a mild fall & winter this past year, I’ve been able to continue doing outdoor sessions long-past when I’d normally have to stop. This, friends, is awesome. Because not only is fall my favorite season, it’s so completely gorgeous.
The plan had originally included a few props, including their new puppy and a wooden #1 block, for their first year anniversary. That plan was changed, though, and I think it might be for the best, because now the images are just about the two of them and how much they love each other.
It’s also about how much they like to have fun. Like throwing leaves at each other. ![]()
Thanks so much, Bekah & Lee.
My name is Raven and I shoot amazing couples and their amazing weddings, both traditional and offbeat. I always look for wedding clients who like to have fun, are creative, and love to laugh. Along with weddings, I shoot engagement sessions, family portraits, children’s portraits, senior portraits, boudoir sessions, and just about everything in between. I’m based north of Atlanta, Georgia, but I’m available for and love travel world-wide.
