P I N this to pinterestBrittany & Anthony, and their respective friends & families, are some of the completely funniest and most fun people I’ve ever had the pleasure of being around. They’re RIDICULOUS and LOUD and make inappropriate JOKES and I’m all about all of it.

I hung out with them for their wedding + wedding rehearsal in Valparaiso, IN, and I was grinning the whole time. I felt SO welcome and such a part of the group, which is always awesome.

Their wedding rehearsal had us run through their ceremony, then retreat back to Anthony’s parents’ house to greet an AMAZING pizza oven food truck, called the Rolling Stonebaker. These gods of pizza introduced me to so many amazing pizza options, including artichoke hearts + bbq sauce, neither of which had ever touched my pizza, but both of which are OUTSTANDING. Try it; you’ll thank me later.

I can’t wait to share Brittany & Anthony’s wedding, which will be up next!:)

When I met Sarah & Chris, they were living in South Atlanta, which is also where we chose to shoot their in-home engagement session, last year: http://youareraven.com/an-atlanta-in-home-engagement-session/. They chose to have their seaside wedding in York, ME, as Sarah’s entire family is from Boston, and they used to spend their summers on the New England shores.

Most memorable moment from your wedding day?

Chris: The moment Sarah walked through the door with her father to walk down the isle. She was absolutely gorgeous.

Sarah: Reading the card that Chris wrote me and then walking down the aisle. I was only in the church for about a minute before the procession started so it was like all of a sudden: Showtime!

Funniest moment from your wedding day?

Chris: Our nephew Sean challenging our friend Alex to a dance off.

Sarah: Chris and I had gone out to take some pictures and all of a sudden we see my nephew running across the field to us, lobster hat and all. He was giving me another ring to remember him by.

What were you most anxious/nervous about regarding your wedding day and how did it turn out?

Chris: I was worried that things weren’t going to go as planned but every thing worked out better than we thought it was going to.

Sarah: I was nervous that all of our people weren’t going to arrive safe and sound, especially the friends and family traveling from Georgia. There was no need to worry, everyone that needed to be there made it there. I feel all my feelings in my stomach, so I was also wicked worried that I was going to throw up while I walked down the aisle. My mom brought our families “puke pan” just in case. Its been in our family for 3 generations. Luckily, I didn’t have enough time to worry about throwing up!

What advice you would give to other couples planning their wedding?

Chris: Have fun with the planning and don’t worry about things because it will all come together the day of your wedding.

Sarah: The most helpful thing for me was picking three non-negotiables and sticking to it. For us it was being married at the end of the day (duh), photos (which is why we had RAVEN!) and food. Everything else besides those three just took a back seat.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Chris: I wouldn’t change a thing!

Sarah: The entire wedding was absolutely perfect, I just wish I could have slowed down the day! It goes by so fast and no matter how many times I tried to stop myself and take it all in, there were so many other things to be done in the moment! Like dancing or eating lobster!

Most memorable moment from your wedding day?

Chris: Our first dance.

Sarah: Definitely our first dance. I literally don’t remember seeing anyone else in the room.

Any tips for future couples on how to prepare for the wedding photos?

Chris: Just hire Raven and let her work her magic.

Sarah: Hire someone you really trust and feel comfortable with. I never worried about whether or not we would have beautiful photos- I knew they would be breathtaking and they certainly did not disappoint!
