I love shooting in-home, especially for maternity sessions, and especially for boudoir sessions. Shooting in-home with natural light just feels so intimate, so very close, and honest, and real. It only seems right to shoot this way for a maternity boudoir session.
Allison and I designed a light and feminine feel and style for her maternity boudoir session, full of pinks and whites, flowing fabric and baby-doll lingerie. She’s having a little girl this month, so we kept everything soft and lovely.
It’s really fun, designing sessions with my clients. If anything had been different, if she had been having a boy, if she were interested in other things, if they had lived somewhere else, etc., we would have styled a completely different maternity boudoir session. But because all of these pieces fell together exactly the way they did, this is what was right.
