Orin and Cliff are two of the most laid back people I’ve ever met. And this, honestly, is saying a lot, because most, if not all, of my clients are laid back and AWESOME.
The whole affair took place in Jacksonville, which surprised me with its blend of old world Spanish history and artistic culture. We even found an awesome restaurant, The Manatee Cafe, that had gluten-free options! {And was YUM.}
Their wedding took place at a family church in town, and the reception that followed was at The Karpeles Manuscript Museum, which boasts documents written by such as John Adams & John Hancock. {Yeah, color ME impressed!}
The whole day was completely THEM, down to every last detail {including the “SOLD” pin on Orin’s fur wrap}. I felt like just shooting and attending their awesome wedding was giving me such insight into who they are as people, and as a couple. They’re completely goofy, so much fun to shoot, and really in love.
Reception decor featured old books, lace, stars, lights, and the same yellow flowers that made up the bouquets for the girls during the ceremony.
Thank you so much, Orin & Cliff. You guys are FABULOUS and your wedding was a PLEASURE to shoot.
{Special thanks to Christina for going on this adventure with me.}

My name is Raven and I shoot amazing couples and their amazing weddings, both traditional and offbeat. I always look for wedding clients who like to have fun, are creative, and love to laugh. Along with weddings, I shoot engagement sessions, family portraits, children’s portraits, senior portraits, boudoir sessions, and just about everything in between. I’m based north of Atlanta, Georgia, but I’m available for and love travel world-wide.
