Posing Workshop in Atlanta

Recently Raven put all of us interns through a grueling workshop on how to pose women. Well….maybe less grueling than I’d like to have you think.

But it was, none the less, much tougher than I’d assumed it would be. Women are naturals, they know how to stand, where to put their hands, how to minimize their waists, how to smile sweetly, all the while staying relaxed and natural. This is the sole reason we spend HOURS in the mirror right?

NEGATIVE GHOST RIDER! How we stand naturally is very seldom the best stance for a photograph. Smiling isn’t nearly as easy when you’re told to as it is when someone makes you smile with a joke.

And let just talk about HANDS for a sec. I know from personal experience that when it comes to posing, your hands instantaneously become these foreign objects that you’re positive you’ve never seen before…EVER. Would you know what to do with an alien space craft if it just materialized in front of your face? Yeah, I didn’t think so!

So after some pretty awesome instruction and ongoing coaching I think I did pretty good. Of course Leah and McKenzie where super pretty and had shot with Raven before so they definitely made it all a bit easier.

So without further ado…..here are some pretty cool chicks with great hands!
