Rykie - or Scarlet Witch - is one of the awesome people who won my contest a few months ago. For her session that she won with me, she gathered together her group of DragonCon-attending Post-Apocalyptic Avengers: Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, Iron {wo}Man, Thor, Spiderman, Hawkeye, & Captain America.
The idea behind this costume group is that the Avengers have formed after the end of the known world, resulting in a new kind of superhero. For the location, we chose the Goat Farm, because not only does it have bits of grass, animals, and dilapidated buildings, but it also has tons of room for us to run around and play. And it also has lots of people who are interested in seeing what we’re doing, and if there’s one thing people in costume and photographers have in common: it’s that we like attention. Well, I do, anyway. 
We took bits of comic and cartoons and combined them with punk-inspired grunge to create the feeling and look we were going for on this shoot. Christina from PhotoSaysHello.com helped me out on this shoot, and as always: thank you, Christina, you’re awesome.
