Garrett grew up on a small farm in north Georgia, and since falling in love, he and Amber have spent a ton of time there with the horses and chickens and goat and dogs and all the wide open space. As soon as I heard this, I immediately got excited about building a farm engagement session with them! We explored the property’s creek, balanced on logs, spent way too long trying to get a heel click right {don’t worry, we got it}, and even brought the horses out for a bit.
Regardless of what the saying might be, I love working with animals on engagement sessions! Because my shooting style is very day-in-the-life or lifestyle-oriented, I never need animals {or you, for that matter!} to do anything specific or “behave.” They just need to be themselves, which is what I encourage for you two, as well. It’s what I strive for in all of my sessions.
