I love offbeat wedding expos, and I love doing styled shoots, so when the opportunity came to combine the two and work on a styled shoot at Terminus 330, a new Atlanta wedding venue, I had heart eyes for days. Though I’d worked with the Revolution Wedding Tours crew before, I hadn’t worked with them in Atlanta {only Charleston}, so I was so excited to see that they were heading to my neck of the woods.
Specifically, I was excited about the venue and theme I’d be working with: Love Rocks, a take on a geode & rock & mineral-themed wedding. And a styled shoot at Terminus 330, a type of wedding venue I’d yet to work with was even more exciting! It has so many different looks and places to shoot: from the bright and airy rooftop, with a killer view, to the moody and historic speakeasy basement, and the full-of-natural-light main floor with brick walls, a bay door, and vintage wooden floors!
And the crew of vendors was a dream to work with! From my good friend - and favorite florist & designer - Robin of Rhapsody in Blooms, to the killer DJs from AMP’d Entertainment, from the gorgeous geode cakes from Vintage Soul Cakes, to the amazing women from Vigilante Cosmetics: everyone was fantastic in bringing this design to life at the styled shoot at Terminus 330.
I had two outstanding real-life couples to work with, and they were perfection. Sweet, loving, goofy as hell, and willing to do whatever weird things I threw at them.
