Mary Tyler & JJ are having a wedding at the end of this fall in her hometown in Mississippi. It’s just before the cotton harvest, and it should be at full height just in time for the wedding. You’d better believe we’re getting in that field.
Initially, Mary Tyler had contacted me for surprise engagement photos for JJ, who was really excited about taking pictures, which I just found too awesome. For the session itself, we focused on three things: their home in Atlanta, Oglethorpe College {because it reminds both of us of Hogwart’s}, and the Atlanta city skyline at sunset.
Oglethorpe was actually the college I had planned on going to all throughout high school. Well, until I graduated and realized how much tuition was, anyway. I’m still a huge fan of their theatre program, especially their Shakespeare performances, and the campus itself.
The dogs are Lola & Jake.
