Our schedules don’t often align where Krista Turner and I can photograph together, but when they do, it’s a dream. I love working with Krista and this light and airy wedding at Ashton Gardens was no exception. Tiffany and Song put on a completely elegant garden-inspired wedding full of love and close friendships that were palpable even at a distance. They adore each other and I loved seeing them interact, making each other laugh and stealing kisses when they thought no one else was looking. {Or even when they did think others were looking, because who cares? You’re in love and that’s great!}
Their color scheme was pink and blue, to go with Song’s military dress, and they blended perfectly. Tiffany and Song chose to do a first look before their ceremony which allowed them to have time together to just enjoy the fact that it was their wedding day! It was a great chance for the two of them to be in the chapel before everyone else. Another bonus of their first look was getting some portraits done earlier in the day!
Their ceremony was in the main chapel space against the wall of windows, such a gorgeous backdrop. It was the perfect balance of joyful moments and the tear-jerking ones we all love during a wedding day. One of their groomsmen even performed on violin during the ceremony! My favorite time of the night was their reception. Their party was full of amazing and enthusiastic dancers who were so much fun to capture. Everyone was ready to celebrate Tiffany and Song, dancing them into the start of their marriage!
