I’m so grateful to see this little family again! Lynne, Jay, and Izzy and I all met years back for their first family portrait session. It’s hard to believe that Izzy was just two years old! I still can’t believe how much they’ve changed but stayed exactly the same. There were moments that felt like echoes of our first session together. Plus a ton of brand new moments this year. Some of my favorite shots to get during family portraits are those kinds that are echoes, so you can compare from year to year! Watching your family grow up before your eyes is something special!

They brought along Willow, so I made sure to get some shots of the two of them together during their family portraits session! Jay and Izzy are fond of throwing the frisbee around, so we had some moments for that. And of course, all the hugs and kisses for mom Lynne. During my family sessions, I try to let the moments unfold naturally and without much direction so that the final photos don’t feel forced or unnatural. When you’re at a session with me, expect to play and be together. Feel free to bring something your family loves to do together – like they brought their frisbee! This family is full of laughter and warmth and I’m honored to have gotten to capture that again! Family portrait sessions are so important. I’m thankful that this sweet family trusted me again to capture their story.
