My friend is starting another short film, except this one is longer. We shot the opening a few weeks ago, and I took a few still shots afterwards. I can’t actually explain the complete idea, because the plot keeps changing constantly, but I can say it involves flowers, chemical warfare, and a whole lot of action.
I also took a few snapshots of Tyler and his girlfriend. They aren’t photographed often, but they do turn out adorably well.
I bought a fish-eye lens on the 13th, and I do say I love it. While the uses are mostly gimmicky, one thing I can absolutely say is that it brings a sense of distance when used in say a hallway, or a long road. The convex nature heightens the roads horizon and makes it seem never ending. One other feature is that it captures a spiral staircase in it whole, rather than being cut off.
I find it just as easy to walk out the front door with camera in hand, as ever before.
