My sister-in-law is from California, and being from there, hadn’t ever really seen the leaves change until she came to Georgia.
I’m from Georgia, and was pretty sure I had grown up watching the leaves change, and felt pretty used to it.
New Hampshire’s leaves, my friends, put ours to shame. SHAME.
Before this wedding, I had never been north of Washington, DC, really. I mean, we were in New York for an event, but I don’t really count that fly-in, fly-out deal.
But for Pamela & Frank’s autumnal wedding extravaganza, we had the extreme pleasure of staying in North Conway, NH. And it was FABULOUS. Not only had Pamela & Frank ordered up amazing weather for the entire weekend, but we were staying literally one minute down the road from an amazing local/organic/gluten & dairy-free grocer/cafe {The Local Grocer}, AND an awesome Irish pub {May Kelly’s}.
Their ceremony was in Jackson’s itty-bitty - and incredibly charming - church right in the middle of town, and the preacher for the service was hilarious! {Enough to where I would consider bringing him down here if and when I marry.}
Their reception was at The Christmas Tree Inn just up the street, which was amazing. It was like a little taste of Christmas in October! :) We truly felt like guests at this wedding, and had such a great time.
Thank you so much, Pamela & Frank. You guys ARE AWESOME.
