Viking Bridal Session

Sarah & Corey are one of the coolest couples I’ve ever met. And given my couples? That’s seriously saying something.

And true to fashion, their wedding was awesomely Viking-themed. Though I was booked on their actual wedding day, we got together for Part One of their bridal/groomal session.

A Viking bridal/groomal session.

They even used their wedding clothes. Sarah made her dress. They used wheat for bouquets. They ate awesome bread and enormous turkey legs.

Very, very cool couple.

Part Two this winter. :)

Helen Clinton-Pacey

Hi,
My hubby an I are planning on renewing our wedding vows next April, and we want a Viking/Pagan one. We will be celebrating our 1oth anniversary, and 60/58 yrs old, any ideas what to do?
Thanks H!

Well, Helen, I’d firstly say do what you want! Have things and traditions that mean something to you or make up new ones that represent you as a couple.
I’ve personally come across a handful of amazing Viking weddings, such as these:

http://offbeatbride.com/2011/07/alabama-viking-wedding - has great ideas for the vows & ceremony itself

Offbeat bride is an amazing resource for this sort of thing, especially with Viking weddings. I’d love to hear the progress and see what you come up with! Keep us updated!
