Like many photographers, I have a favorite age I like to shoot. Well, there are a couple, actually. Though I really love shooting anyone amazing, no matter their age, there’s something about 6 months old that always makes me smile.
I recently set up another full day of mini-sessions in Arlington, Virginia, and met some utterly AMAZING people {and saw a few familiar faces, as well}.
{We also went to a truly heinous restaurant, but that’s another story.}
Though she’s only 6 months old, Isabella is already wise beyond her years. Or, talented beyond her months, anyway. With Crossfit trainers for parents, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that she’s not only learning to swim, but is also working on assisted standing. I hear she’s moving to the kettle-bell, next. 
We shot her 6 month session with only available natural light inside of their condo, and based the session around just capturing who she is at this age. What she can do, the faces she makes, the things she likes and doesn’t: any and everything that makes her Isabella.
