When Sara first reached out to plan her session with me, she knew I was someone who specializes in photographing people who don’t like having their photo taken. It’s kinda become my “thing,” especially being someone who feels that way about having my own photo taken. If that sounds like you too, never fear! I understand how you feel on a personal level and know exactly how to create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself and just have a great time with your partner.
For her and her partner’s portrait session we picked the Atlanta Beltline, one of my absolute favorite places to shoot and somewhere that means a lot to the two of them specifically. The Beltline is a system of trails going in and around Atlanta, often featuring street art or sculpture installations that change often, meaning there’s always something new to see. Not to mention the time of day, weather, and the season all factor in for a different set of circumstances each time I do portraits there. I love all of the street art especially, always bright and colorful, and more often than not weird as hell, which is what I’m all about and always looking for.
