My balloons. Those are my balloons. He stole my balloons!
Have you ever had an idea that seemed so easy, so non-laborious, you thought you could do it in two hours… Obviously you never blew up 150+ balloons. This concept I had seemed relatively easy, however I was mistaken. The feat of blowing up the balloons was way more time consuming than I originally thought, and this was using an air compressor. Even so, the balloon were not nearly enough to fill the basement of my friend’s home. The total figured would have been close to a thousand balloons, and we did not have the time. So we moved it into a small water closet in the middle hall, and made use of the bare walls. Spaced was cramped and we had to move slowly, seeing as balloons would pop at the slightest touch. In the end we all had fun, and yes I, myself partook into the craziness of all this.
I used all three lenses I had, and my small target hot-shoe flash. The effects, that I had, were absolutely above any thing I could expected. For close ups I used a Rokkinon 8mm Fish-eye lens, and the wide shots and portrait shots I used my Canon 18-55mm and my 50mm lenses. The white walls made for wonderful reflecting of the light. This was an accomplishment of the low expectations of everyone and the realization for everyone involved of how much fun this became for an afternoon
