Zach & Kartik are a perfect blend of city and nature life. They spend a weekend in a North GA cabin each year before Thanksgiving but also love Midtown for socializing and exploring new food and drink options. After getting to know these two a bit, we decided a Beltline engagement session would be the perfect blend of their two sides: city and nature. This plan was, of course, fine by me because I LOVE shooting on the Beltline! It’s a completely different experience each time I visit, and each couple gives me a unique perspective on the walk.
Beltline Engagement Session
We started off by Park Tavern, grabbing some killer skyline shots to begin our adventure, then headed across to some of the most iconic wall art on the Beltline: the koi fish and the colorful dots! The art along the way had changed, as it always does, so each time I visit is a new adventure for me. You have to keep you eyes open and be on the lookout for new or different art, alleyways with hidden treasures, and - because we’re in a Georgia December - some changing leaves or greenery as well. We even managed to steal a moment in some evergreens!
Creating an engagement session experience that’s unique to you as a couple is important to me. Zach and Kartik’s Beltline engagement session gave them a chance to celebrate what they love about being together. Engagement portraits are about more than snapping some portraits. They’re really an opportunity to share your love story… which is as unique as you are.
