Confession: when I was younger, I used to read the Sweet Valley High series. I may or may not have also played the board game once or twice. And for some reason, this made me think that, when I was a grown-up, I wanted to have a boy first, and then twins.
A lot has changed since then, especially since I don’t even know if I want kids at all, much less twins, which, this family can tell you, are a handful. Two, technically.
But I still really love meeting people’s’ families and getting to hang out with their kids, who are awesome, just like their parents.
Shakti & Norm’s family were on our mini-session day tour of Arlington. We did a family session and a 10 month old session for the girls, Reva & Lila. {And yes, Reva sounds a lot like Raven, and is almost spelled the same, so I got a kick out of that.}
We focused mostly on laidback moments with the family, working to get the girls to smile at the same time, and generally laughing and having a great time.
